SofTrack's Quick Inventory Agent determines in less than 20 seconds per workstation (less than 45 seconds for Macintosh computers) which applications are installed on all your Windows-based and Macintosh workstations. Quick Inventory also provides several hardware details of each Windows-based and Macintosh workstations throughout your enterprise. SofTrack's Quick Inventory can also be used to collect software and hardware inventory data for remote/disconnected workstations such as laptops that are not directly connected to your enterprise network.

SofTrack's Quick Inventory data gathering modules can be configured to run from a logon script or other startup method. The modules can also be configured to be run automatically by the SofTrack Local Workstation Agent. SofTrack's Quick Inventory reports include change tracking which can be used to discover: Applications being installed including serial number; Applications that have been added and/or removed; Windows Hotfixes and service packs installed; Windows Hotfixes and service packs removed; Internet Explorer updates; TCP/IP address changes per workstation; Machine BIOS revision changes; Physical RAM modifications; CPU changes; User Accounts Added/Removed (Macintosh only); and more!

AssetFocus is a tool that automatically collects information on software, hardware and files from an enterprise computer network. First of all you get an overview of who and how many has an installation of i.e. Adobe Photoshop, Access or Kazaa. AssetFocus recognizes more than 11,000 applications and versions. Secondly you get hardware information on i.e. CPU type and speed, monitor, size of hard disk, net card, RAM memory from all computers on the network. Furthermore you get an overview on i.e. music and film files on the network, where they are and their size.

With AssetFocus you can control your licenses. Via the build-in license module, you can register all vital license information, i.e. number of licenses, license keys, serial numbers, purchase dates etc. AssetFocus documents how many installations you have per application. After this the system can compare the number of licenses with the number of software installations and you can generate reports. The scan runs automatically via the login-script and without installations on the client. The actual scan runs invisible to the user and only uses 5-20 % CPU usage.

Network Administrators use this tool to inventory computers in the corporate networks for the software and hardware configuration, generate software licenses reports, etc. The program does not require the client module to be installed on each individual workstation, but can be configured to inventory all network computers by only copying the files to a single shared folder on a file server.
