Customize your user account icon in XP

To customize your User accounts icon:
  • Single-click the Start menu
  • Click Control Panel
  • Single-click the User Accounts icon
  • Select your account and click on it
  • Click on the text Change My Picture

    You have the option to Pick one of the predefined icons

    • Highlight the one you like best
    • Click the Change Picture button

    -- or --
    to choose your own picture
    • Click the click the magnifying glass or text the Browse for more pictures
    • In dialog box navigate to where you stored picture to be used
    • Click Open to save your changes
