How to troubleshoot roaming profiles that won't roam.

If you have implemented roaming user profiles on your network and the profiles aren't roaming properly, your users may have tried using the Encrypting File System (EFS) feature of NTFS to encrypt files in their My Documents folder. Unfortunately EFS is incompatibility with roaming profiles and will prevent them from working properly, and the solution is to instruct users not to use EFS in their My Documents folder.
