Powering Up Msconfig.exe

Here's an improved troubleshooting utility from Microsoft you should know about.

The msconfig.exe utility is a useful tool for troubleshooting startup and configuration problems. What you may not know however is that Microsoft has an improved version of this tool that adds a Tools tab from which you can easily launch other common troubleshooting tools like Network Diagnostics, Event Viewer, System Information, System Properties, and so on.

You can get this new and improved version of msconfig.exe from the Microsoft Download Center using this link. The new utility is supported on Windows XP SP2 platforms only.
