Keyboard shortcuts to folders

Want to create a keyboard shortcut to popup a folder at any time:
  • In Windows Explorer, browse to the folder
  • Right-Click the folder
  • Click Send To
  • Select Desktop (create shortcut)
  • On the desktop, right–click the new shortcut
  • Click Properties
  • Enter the ctrl-alt-letter or ctrl-shift-letter of your choice in the shortcut key box
    For example, ctrl-alt-f or ctrl-shft-f

You can also create keyboard shortcuts for applications. See User Tip #112: Windows Hot-key shortcuts which works for Windows NT / Windows 2000 / Windows XP.
