When you uninstall Office 2000, it tends to leave tags ends - files as well as registry entries. Microsoft has released a freeware utility, Office 2000 File and Registry Eraser. This utility was not designed to uninstall Office 2000, only to cleanup after the incomplete job done by Office 2000's uninstall program.
