We have been using 2 Mextreme MX-400 in a HALO (Mextreme's HA solution) configuration for over 3 years. I would not purchase a Mextreme product again. Their support is very slow and not 100% accurate. In some support incidents I had a better understanding of their interface/options then the support staff trying to help me. The Web interface is clumsy and dynamic. For instance, if there is more then one page in the E-Mail queue the "Remove" button moves from the top of the screen to the bottom. The search engine for the report database works very poorly unless you select "all fields" to search. I am now going on the third month without anti-virus on the machine because Mextreme can not get the licensing correct, or this is what they tell me. Yes, I did pay all the license fees and such. Their HALO product is not all inclusive as far as what settings get replicated to the backup appliance and what does not. Some setting should not be replicated since they are unique to a given appliance but all other settings/configs should get pushed to the backup but they do not.

I would not recommend this product to anyone.
