 | Windows ME is not able to detect the hardware settings for Input/Output Ports and Interrupt Request. In this example the values estimated by Windows were not correct. This required to define manually in the "Device Manager" (part of the Properties of "System") for this network card: Tab: Resources the proper values. |
Such a change requires a restart of the system.
After the restart, check again in Device-Manager, that the Network card is working properly:
