I am not starting here from scratch, but assume you have installed already your network card.
The setup below assumes, that your system is connected on the same network segment as the
domain-server. If you are connected via a router, please view also Connection via a Router to a NT Domain Server.
 | In this example, I have in addition of the Network card (NE2000) also a modem for Internet-access. To connect to a Windows NT Domain server, we need to configure the "Client for Microsoft Networks", by editing its "Properties". |
 | We need to put the Checkmark on "Log on to Windows NT Domain" and we need to provide the name of the NT Domain. |
 | In addition, select in the Network-applet the tab: "Identicication" and change your Workgroup name to be identical to the Domain name (otherwise your will have problems browing to the NT server). |
The system will need to load additional components from your Windows 95 CD-ROM (or floppies) and then request you to reboot.
On Startup, you will now get the Domian Login screen:
To continue, you need now to enter a Username with password (if required), which is valid on the NT server (you maybe prompted to change the Password)
 | You should see the NT-server in the "Network Neighborhood" with its resources. |
 | use the RIGHT-mouse button to get the context menu, from which you then can select to "Map Network Drive" |
