Windows 2000 Definition of Dial-Up Connection

There are multiple paths to get to the Dial-Up Networking Window:

Via the Control-Panel
using the icon
"Network and Dial-up
Connections
"

Via the Start-Menu
"Settings", then
"Network and Dial-up
Connections
"

via your desktop icon
"My Network Places",
then the link to
"Network and Dial-up
Connections
".

As instructed , select to
"Make a New Connection"

This starts up the
"Network Connection Wizard".
Continue with "Next"

This Wizard takes care about
all different kind of connections
(incoming and outgoing, via
modem or direct-cable-connection)

CompuServe in Brussels)

Step 2 of 3 :

by the Internet provider

Step 3 of 3 :
